Dr. Wright has worked in medical education for more than 25 years. He served as Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education and Director of the Health Professions Advising Center for University of Texas at Dallas and as the Director of Admissions at UT Southwestern Medical School. He also served as executive director of the Texas Medical and Dental Schools Application Service and editor-in-chief of APPLY Magazine. He currently serves as Vice President of Advising at Mappd.
Scott’s interests include the psycho-social aspects of personal growth and professionalism, mindfulness and techniques to limit distractibility, and helping pre-health students through the arduous journey to fulfill their dreams. Dr. Wright has spoken on these and other topics throughout the USA and internationally.
Dr. Morales is the Associate Dean of Admissions at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. Dr. Morales has been on faculty at Texas Tech since April 2012. He also serves as an Associate Professor for the Department of Family and Community Medicine. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. He has multiple roles in the school of medicine which include serving on various committees for Texas Tech and teaching in the FMAT program.
Dr. Morales still has an active medical practice this serves the families of Lubbock and the surrounding West Texas communities. His practice includes the care of newborn, obstetric, adult, and geriatric patients. Dr. Morales also serves as the faculty advisor for the Latino Medical Student Association and was the founding member of the Bernard Harris Pre-Med Society at Texas Tech University. He loves to teach and provides mentorship for many medical students and residents.
Dr. Ridgeway is the Associate Dean for Student Affairs at the Edward Via College Osteopathic Medicine. She has served at VCOM for the last 10 years. Previously she served in the Disability Resource Center at the University of Georgia.
